If you’re reading this you’ve had a chance to experience our new look and layout at postcardcomets.com. This is the freshly painted home of the decidedly unpainted POSTCARD COMETS. We hope you’ll find it less cluttered and easier to navigate.
We have a master player on every page now because, after all, the music is what it’s all about. Some of our visitors told us that they liked to use the site as a radio – “ALL COMETS! ALL THE TIME!”. This is tremendously flattering and the master player is a way to facilitate that usage as well as a way to say thanks.
In addition to Cometary, our blog that you’re in the midst of reading, we have all the lyrics to both Bodies Of Water and the recent tunes in the order that they appear on the player. This, too, was done based on feedback from visitors who like to read the lyrics as they listen.
We also have a bunch of links to our friends and collaborators as well those to places (we hope) you’ll decide to download our music.
That’s the one question from the site feedback we’ve been unable to answer until now. “Where can we get tracks?” Now we have an answer: our first album, Bodies Of Water, is now available for download from iTunes worldwide as well as Amazon.com, eMusic, Rhapsody and Napster! Lots of choices. And, the second POSTCARD COMETS album, as yet unnamed, will be similarly available before the end of 2009.
Speaking of visitor feedback, we’ve made it a bit easier for you to contact us. Now clicking the word email on the Contacts page opens an email template in your mail software, pre-addressed. Just type what you have to say and click send. What could be easier?
